Darby (Darby the Wonder Pony) is an 11-year old 13.3 hand Connemara-Welsh cross. He is Carlie's pony but she is willing to share him for lessons when she isn't already riding him. Darby is an independent spirit (aka-stubborn) and does not appreciate being on a leadline. He is cute, comfortable and fun to ride. He loves x-rails and made his showing debut in March 2008. He has been shown in walk/trot, pony and jr. pleasure, and over x-rails. Darby is a good sport about most things and even enjoys playing horse soccer. (we think he should be team captain - not only will he chase after the ball but he will kick and bite it). He has no idea of his small size and will often be found challenging the larger horses such as Nemo in the pasture. Darby's favorite is Hunter Green.
