Little Feather (who is not little at a solid 16 hands with a draft build) is the most recent addition to Bit By Bit Stable arriving in Nov, 2009. She was born in July, 7 or 8 years ago, to a Canadian Percheron Mare and an unknown father. She was one of fifty foals bought at auction and brought down to Grass Valley, California, by a local Premarin rescue group. She was four months old when Barb (her owner) first laid eyes on her and it's been love ever since. She was the most difficult foal to corral into a trailer but probably the quickest to start begging for treats. She has always had lots of personality and is quite well traveled for a horse...and probably would like to stay in one spot, like Bit by Bit for awhile, enjoying her friends and Mary's grass! Feather has a gentle and easy going personality and is never in a hurry. She is willing and comfortable to ride.
