Ruby came to us in early 2013. She is a 7 year old, bay, registered QH and her show name is “She’z only a Zippo.” Before she came to us she hadn’t done much, just a little walk/trot and short canters under saddle. Well, she has done a lot and done it WELL this year. She competed in regional and National games- traveling to VA in order to do it. She competed in and won year end awards in TSHA two-phase events (dressage and jumping) with 2 riders in different divisions and won HIGH POINT Dressage QH of the year (2013), she hunter paced, she participated in many pony club events and WON the NYUC Show Jumping rally. She also competed in CHSA shows and will be receiving year end awards in that as well. Ruby went to Tryon,NC to compete (and win) 2016 USPC Nationals in show jumping. This little mare, at 14.1 hands is classified as a pony but has wonderful horse sized movement. She is beautiful, laid back and will do anything to please you. She was also in two parades this year, including a light parade in the dark. Nothing fazes her and she walks off the trailer into a new environment like she has been doing it all along. I keep forgetting her age as she acts like a seasoned pro. She is so talented, I can’t wait to see what this next year has in store for her. She looks up to Lucky and follows her all around the pasture.
